This is an early 1900's Victorian German silver chainmail mesh purse in excellent condition. 

It measures approximately 5 inches square, not including the chain and dangle beads that hang from the bottom of the purse.  The chain adds an additional 8 1/2 inch drop to the top of the frame.  It has two beautiful pink cabochon stones in the kiss clasp.   It has no holes or damage to the chainmail, just one very small chink on the backside, and has some slight tarnish, as can be viewed in our photos.  It's hallmarked "German Silver".  Both sides of the pretty embossed frame have center blank cartouches for initials.  A gorgeous piece to display in your collection, or a great gift.
